22-23 Start of the Year Parent Letter

August 15, 2022

Dear Buena Vista Virtual Academy Students and Parents,

We are so excited to be starting the 2022-23 school year with you at BVVA! We can’t wait to welcome back our returning students and get to know many new students. Our goal is to ensure that you will have a positive and enriching school experience. The emotional well-being and academic achievement of our students are our priorities.

Our goal is to provide an online community of independent learners who have opportunities to connect over shared interests. To meet this goal, we will be providing more in-person opportunities for our younger learners, and we have expanded our high school hybrid program. As always, Buena Vista students have the opportunity to be concurrently enrolled at a traditional campus school, as well as have access to college classes, in order to accelerate learning and keep connected with peers.

Below are some upcoming activities, opportunities, and events we wanted to make you aware of before the start of the school year.
